A little history. St. Patrick’s Day. The celebration starts on March 17th the anniversary of his death in the fifth century. He is the patron saint of Ireland. Not much is really known about his life. There are some tall tails about him banishing the snakes from Ireland but are exaggerated stories. St. Patrick’s is a day for eating corned beef and cabbage, Irish soda bread and wear green chrysanthemums or a Shamrock symbol of the three diving persons in one God sacred to Ireland. The cities mentioned above celebrate St. Patrick’s Day to the fullest. Green rivers, lakes and fountains.
