Visit Alabama and breathe the beautiful fresh mountain air. The Golf Courses are truly magnificent, as well as tennis, canoeing, fishing, basketball, soccer, and track just to name a few of outdoor adventures to look forward to where ever you stop in Alabama. Huntsville Alabama has the largest space attraction the U.S. Space and Rocket Center. Don’t forget the minor league baseball team the Huntsville Stars. Stop in Scottsboro where the Walls of Jericho and Jackson County Park and Lookout Mountain Park known as one of the most scenic drives ever. Birmingham boasts the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame they sure have the right to boast they have original memorabilia from over 200 inductees including “Bear” Bryant, Joe Louis (boxer), Jesse Owens and Carl Lewis, two Heisman trophies, 3 World Series trophies and numerous other awards. Don’t forget University of Alabama football at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa it is an experience.
Take a simulated plane ride at the new Tuskegee Air National Site the is a fantastic hands on exhibit.
The Golf Coast is 32 miles of breathtaking blue water. Stop and visit the USS Alabama battleship in Mobile, and all the beautiful mansions, Monroeville, Foley and Fairhope offer historic sites, great shopping and fine dining well worth the stop over and spend the night. Deep Sea fishing is an event at Orange Beach and sailing on Dauphin Island is so relaxing. Need to mention one more sports event watch the Mobile Bay Bears play baseball at Hank Aaron Stadium it will be a day to remember. There is so much to do and see in Alabama you will enjoy every minute and the historical value alone is worth the trip. See you in Alabama
