New Orleans
New Orleans one of the top ten cities with haunted cemeteries, bars, night clubs, bed and breakfast inns and hotels is the place to be on all hallow’s eve. Discover the spirits and magic become real. You will not be the only one who has seen these historic tales come to life many have lived to tell their haunted story. New Orleans, the perfect city where walking tours, zombie and voodoo shops are opened daily.
Savannah
Visit Savannah and really get spooked! You have several great ways to really get scared walking lantern tours, horse and carriage rides, or even a converted hearse. Savannah is one our oldest cities and has been the origin of colonist, pirates, hurricanes, and illnesses such as yellow fever. All of these facts combined have the best background for ghost tales that cannot be explained. Remember Savannah was built on the dead.
Chicago
We know each city with a hunting background likes to say they are the most haunted but Chicago is far ahead of the them all. “Ghosts per capita“, Chicago ghosts out number them all. The best stories of haunted places, gangsters, brutal murders, violent deaths, very strange and upsetting disappearances, people just vanishings are only a few of the stories that famous haunting ghost stories are made.
Chicago’s Archer Avenue a road built by poor Irish immigrants is still very controversial it was built over an ancient Indian trail where it was common knowledge there were spirits. Many died building this road hunger, disease, thirst and torturer. The tours in Chicago are the best.
Gettysburg
Thousands and thousands of soldiers died July 1,2,3 of 1863 in Gettysburg from both the north and south. Gettysburg still has ghostly sightings, Devil’s Den is the most well known as the story goes the photographers taking photo’s moved several bodies to take a better photograph but now those soldiers have never laid in peace. It is reported that many cameras just would not work or part of the photo would not develop and other s stories tell of thing showing up in the photo’s that the photographers say was never there. Cries of children, parents, and the many, many soldiers in Gettysburg are still heard. We encourage you to visit Gettysburg and pay tribute to those who want us to hear their long ago voices.
Key west
Everyone you meet wants to visit Key West Florida. The fantasy of a casual vacation with fresh seafood, relaxation, and the home of Hemingway has long been the dream of many. Only 150 miles south of Miami and 90 miles north of Havana it does not seem so far away. A paradise waiting to happen to all of us.
As all exciting things in life this little town has it’s secrets.
Key West embraces notorious haunting and supernatural residents. “Ghost tours” are available or you can choose to stay at a haunted hotel or bed and breakfasts. Visit the old East Martello Fort Museum. A must if you really want to be frightened. Make your own judgment call.
Salem

Charleston
Charleston South Carolina is full of history-haunted history. There are sure are a lot of stories about unusual happenings. With over 20 “haunted” places in Charleston you will be busy because each has such a thrilling story. Stories of rejected loves, ghosts snuggling up to you in bed, stories of lifeless families in a car on a bridge, headless torso enough to make you question is the ghost friendly or not. Visit Charleston and you will enjoy your visit with all the history and culture & especially the fine dining you will have a wonderful exciting and interesting time.
Alton, IL
The Mineral Springs Hotel many years ago was an elegant hotel and spa in Alton, Illinois. Mineral Springs Hotel is now filled with murders, suicides, tragedy, natural and accidental deaths stories. The beautiful memories are no longer remembered because hotel has been closed and the stories are told over and over.
The most popular is the Jasmine Lady (one of the ghosts) seen many times at the hotel and known by her beautiful dresses and perfume of Jasmine seen strolling the halls. She was pushed by her jealous husband down the stairs to her death. This is questionable but it is a theory because he then went to his room and committed suicide. Mineral Springs Hotel is very haunted.
Saint Augustine
St. Augustine the vacation capital of Florida and even more exciting when you stay at one of St. Augustine haunted bed and breakfast inns. You can walk, ride or sail on your haunted adventure. There are a number of ghost tour companies in St. Augustine. Visiting the grave yards, homes, jail, military hospital your host will thrill you of stories of misfortune of people who have long passed to another world but are still seen in St. Augustine. It seems they have found no peace. You may want to do some research before beginning on one of the wonderful tours there are so many to choose from to visit. Your tour guide will be exceptionally helpful.
Galveston
A small island off the Gulf of Mexico known as Galveston, Texas has a very large haunted past with good reason. On September 8, 1900 Galveston was stuck by one of the worst hurricanes in this nations history, killing more then 6,000 people. Loosing 25% of the population during this storm haunted areas are easily found. Visiting historic inns, hotels, small shops, and large chain stores and seeing a spirit in not uncommon. Encountering Ghost Pirates such as Jean Lafitte who is said to have left millions of dollars worth of treasure in this area is still hunted. Wouldn’t you like to be the lucky one to find his greed.
