Springtime in Boston.  Aren’t those the words in a lovely old song? Cannot remember the words at the moment but I will look it up shortly (the marvels of the internet). Visiting Beantown any time of year is the best time ever. The perfect city for those who love history and architecture. The New England Aquarium is fantastic with all the colorful fish, playful penguins for both adults and children alike you will come away with many stores of the animals. A stop at the Kennedy Museum is a must with the focus of John F. Kennedy.

Philadelphia

Do you like the city or countryside best? I believe living in Philadelphia provides both and that is where springtime comes in. Philadelphia is so filled with our proud history and just a few miles down route 30 you have the beautiful Amish Country where tulips, crocuses and daffodils push their way through the soil for our enjoyment. We all love admiring beautiful flowers just as nature intended us to do.

Smokey Mountains

Spring is finally here and if you are traveling from the North to the South or back home from the South to the North making sure you visit the Great Smoky Mountains is a must. The most visited mountain in the United States is the Smoky Mountains. Being a New Englander I am also proud to say 70 miles of the Appalachian Trail is included in the 850 miles of the beautiful mountain range. Flowers are budding and blooming, wild life stirring, the gorgeous waterfalls are all there waiting to photographed. Yes, spring is finally here.

Chicago

Ah, Springtime in the Windy City can be nasty or nice depending on the weather. Sometimes winter just wants to hang around to annoy those who can hardly  wait for base ball, kite flying, outdoor concerts in the park and the springtime popular events that Chicago businesses sponsor. If the dates have been booked more than likely no matter what the weather the true Chicago native will not let the weather stop their enjoyment of spring, tulips, pansies, daffodils and lots more in their gardens or the great events planned for them.

Seattle

A spring time vacation in Seattle Washington is very much a family friendly city. That sound American to me. Once arriving and settling into your lodging it is time to check out the city. Kids of all ages do not want to miss the 41-second elevator ride up 520 feet to the observation deck of the Space Needle that was built for the 1962 World’s Fair . There is even a restaurant at the top that revolves while your having lunch. Your children will renew their interest in Science at the Pacific Science Center. It is not only informative but fun.
The Seattle Children’s Theatre is one of a kind. Check out what is playing this week. Take note that it is only open September through June. For Mom and Dad there are at least thirty five wineries in the Puget Sound Region. Washington wines receive international awards. Mother’s Day Weekend there is the Federal Way’s tour of well know gardens. A must for anyone who loves beautiful flowers. Visit Seattle soon and enjoy a Springtime vacation.
