Cool as a Cucumber
What would spring or summer be without a fresh cool cucumber. An accessory to any sandwich.
A salad without a cucumber is just not the same in spring or summer.
A refreshing summer cucumber soup is always tasty.
My favorite is a tuna sandwiches like my mother makes. So simple, tuna, mayo, onions and fresh bread. A few potato chip on the side and maybe a dill pickle. Anyone who has enjoyed one of my mothers tuna sandwiches has always complimented her. Simply served on plain bread or toasted.
