About Ash Street Inn
Ash Street Inn is a compound of two historic homes located in Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island. Each home is a splendid example of period architecture, but both have been updated to provide the ultimate in guest comfort and enjoyment. The main house, constructed in 1904, contains six guest rooms and our public areas. The adjacent guesthouse, built in 1880, has four guest rooms. Each chamber has its own distinctive decor and guests love to explore unoccupied rooms to see where they would like to stay next time.
Our wrap-around porch, complete with a swing, is the perfect spot for lazy afternoons with a good book. If you forgot to bring reading material, don't worry -- you'll find an eclectic collection of books and magazines in our cozy parlor, along with lemonade, tea, coffee and freshly baked cookies. Innkeepers/owners, Jill Dorson Chi and Samuel Chi, are transplanted Californians who fell in love with this very special island and decided to make it home.
