Accommodations are in the Maine House, a classic New England Cottage, furnished with antiques and marine art. The large wrap around porch, complete with wicker rocking chairs and iced tea, offers great views of the harbor activities. The multi-unit buildings at the water\'s edge offer several different room types, all with private decks and water views. Each room is tastefully and individually decorated. Warmth and charm are found throughout. There is plenty to do on site and close by; pristine beaches, nature walk, golf, boat rentals, art galleries and antique shops. The Dockside Restaurant boasts a water view from every table. Our creatively diverse menu and extensive wine list will ensure a truly memorable dining experience. Recipe: Creme De Menthe Brownies


  • 4(1 ounce ) squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 1-cup margarine or butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1-cup flower
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Creme de Menthe Frosting
  • 4 cups sifted powered sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/4cup half and half
  • 1/4 cup green Creme de menthe

  • Creme de Menthe Piping
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate morsels, melted

  • Combine unsweetened chocolate and butter in small, heavy saucepan; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until melted. Let stand 10 minutes. Beat eggs at medium speed of an electric mixer until thick and lemon colored; gradually add sugar, beating well. Add salt, flour, vanilla and chocolate mixture; beat at low speed 1 minute. Spoon mixture into slightly greased and floured 13x9x2 pan. Bake at 350* for 25-30 minutes or until center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; spread Cr?ɬ®me De Menthe Frosting over the top. Chill at least 4 hours. Drizzle melted chocolate morsels over frosting in a lattice design. Chill one more hour then enjoy!
