Built in 1935, this Georgian Colonial home was transformed into an Inn and Conference Center in 1993. Newly re-decorated in 2005 with the finest of furnishings, you will indeed feel like royalty when you visit the main house, or perhaps choose a cozy stay in the Carriage House Suite that is ideal for honeymooners or a family of 4. The 6 rooms in our Magnolia house have microwaves, refrigerators, and a few have gas fireplaces. All 11 rooms have full baths, cable TV, and high speed wireless internet. We are conveniently located on Main Street, a few blocks from the waterfront and downtown shops, restaurants, dinner theatre, and playhouse. Recipe: Baked French Toast


1 1/2 stick butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 loaf Pepperidge Farm white or cinnamon/raisin bread
6 eggs
2 c. milk
Maple syrup

Use a 9x12 inch dish. Melt 1 1/2 stick of butter and add 1 1/3 cups brown sugar, 1 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon; make a paste and spread over bottom of dish. Remove crust from bread, layer two slices of bread and place in dish. Blender: 6 eggs, 2 cups milk, pour over top, cover & refrigerate. Bake 25-30 min at 350?Ǭ?. Drizzle maple syrup on top and run under broiler until bubbly.
